In this work, shadows are considered in their broader term. Going beyond capturing the direct effect of sunlight, they are exploring sharp shapes, deep contrasts. This approach is a reflection on how photographs can interpret subjects. Here, sharp contrasts tend to interestingly reduce the amount of information brought to the eyes. Some may find this boring with less to see, but here, less is more. This magic trick qualitatively reveals outlines and shapes of a building, an object or a person. It unexpectingly emphasizes barer features, which are reduced to their very essence. They naturally become richer, prominent once again. In a modern world where most media show rather than suggest, I hope that this suggestive approach will help freeing your mind for a moment and nurture your imagination…
