This approach is a reflection on how photographs can interpret subjects. Here, sharp contrasts tend to interestingly reduce the amount of information brought to the eyes. Some may find this boring with less to see, but here, less is more. This magic trick qualitatively reveals outlines and shapes of a building, an object or a person. It unexpectingly emphasizes barer features, which are reduced to their very essence. They naturally become richer, prominent once again.
